Clear Brook Vol. Fire & Rescue

Stonewall District Ruritan Club proudly donated the funds needed to Clear Brook Volunteer Fire & Rescue for the purchase of a QTAC 85EMS-C Skid Unit. The QTAC 85EMS-C is a fire-rescue skid that features a unique, ‘convertible’ rescue litter platform that allows for the tailgate to be closed on most UTVs when not in use. The Evans Home

Stonewall District Ruritan Club proudly donated $10,000 to help in conjunction with the Rotary Club  of Winchester and a generous donation by Chris Lewis to purchase a van for The Evans Home.

FAMILY PROMISE OF THE NORTHERN SHENANDOAH VALLEY

The Stonewall District Ruritan Club had the pleasure of having Ms. Robin Russell with Family Promise of the Northern Shenandoah Valley come speak to our club about this amazing non-profit. Their organization serves families with children who are experiencing homelessness and those who are unstably housed and at imminent risk of becoming homeless. The laurel center

The Stonewall District Ruritan Club had the pleasure of having Ms.Cindy Marzullo from The Laurel Center come speak to our club about this amazing non-profit. Their organization providing emergency shelter and support services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their dependent children. The salvation army

Stonewall District Ruritan Club members volunteering their time to ring the bell for The Salvation Army. 

Each year, The Salvation Army will serve more than 25 million people across America – including many here in your community. Donations in the red kettle stay local – directly impacting the lives of your neighbors by helping them in their time of need.

Milk Giveaway

The Stonewall District Ruritan Club gave away more than 2,500 gallons of milk to help the community. The Stonewall District Ruritan Club worked in conjunction with South Berkeley Ruritan and Silo Church in Greencastle, Pennsylvania to take care of our community.

Scholarships

Every year we are excited to hand out scholarships to local students. We are happy to announce that the Stonewall District Ruritan Club was able to provide three for $1,500 scholarships each to three deserving students! Congrats!

Community Support Activities

BBQ Chicken Sales

One of the fund raising activities used to support the facility is the sale of BBQ chicken.  

Frederick County Fair Support

The Demolition Derby is one of the many events supported by the facilities in association with the Frederick County Fair. 

Poinsettia Distribution at Christmas

 The club delivers Poinsettias' on Christmas eve to local nursing homes to bring cheer to residents. The poinsettias are donated by Weber’s Nursery.

Antique Truck Shows

The club hosts the Annual Tri-State Truck Show. 

American Red Cross Support

We support the Red Cross with an annual blood drives.
